My New Old Chair

This is an old chair that has been on my front porch (although it's not a real porch since it's the size of a postage stamp). Anyway, I have fretted for years what color to paint it. I finally decided on Barn Red. I just love it! I spray painted it because I thought it would be quicker. Lord knows that I need all the minutes in a day that I can get!

I think it's just perfect now! And, just in time for Flag Day!

  2. Oooh! I think it is perfect too Susan! What a fun way to welcome people to your front door when they see this chair. Great job. I have a new blog so I hope you will stop in there to say hello.

  4. So pretty! I just love the color, barn red. I am redoing an old wooden chair also, but I had to sand it first, and I'll paint it once I get some time AND it's not raining outside!

  5. Susan, I love the chair painted red, and it looks so pretty with the fern on it. Just think how perfect it will look with a little Christmas tree with small presents underneath :) Yes, that's me... always thinking ahead to winter and Christmas, teehee.
