Bathroom make-over

I have been on a painting frenzy in my home the past 2 weeks. I have painted 1 bathroom, 2 bedrooms, and the living room. Here are the pictures of the bathroom. It is the master bath but the boys use it too to take their bath so I added some whimsy to it for them. The color is bright - which is what I need in the mornings to get me going! So, I thought I would share a few pictures of the bathroom.
I spray painted the gold plate holder to white. I like it much better. I don't know if many people have a plate holder in their bathroom, but I like it!

A pretty star over a set of hooks that hold the pool towels. I purchased the star at Big Lots and spray painted it white. It's one of my favorite things in this bathroom! I think it looks so pretty over the colorful towels.

Hooks replaced the towel holder. Plus, we moved it just a little lower for the boys to be able to reach. Notice the shower curtain has cats and dogs on the front.

And, I replace the toilet paper holder to a new one where the roll just slides off and on. I like that very much!

This is a night light that we leave on for the boys. Neither of them like the dark so we have lots of night lights.

I hope you enjoyed my tour of the bathroom. Tomorrow, we might tour the living room. I still have to hang all the pictures.

  1. it looks really nice, Susan!

and I really think I need a toilet paper holder like one, it even looks simple enough for males to refill :)

  2. Oh how I love those kitties! The kitty plates and the sleeping kitty curled up on your towel rack thingy. How in the world did you paint all those rooms so fast? My arms would be hanging without feeling at my sides if I tried that! *smiles*

  5. It looks great again Susan! You won't have any rooms left at the rate you are going.

  6. I believe there is a place for plates in every single room of your house. And I love that star over your towels! Looks so pretty and colorful with that paint color behind it!
