I looked at this bed today as I walked through the bedroom and thought that the yellow pillow didn't really match the bedspread. I had not noticed that before. Maybe that is because this pillow seems to travel in the house on its own accord. Sometimes it is in the living room, sometimes the boys' room, and sometimes in the master bedroom. Regardless, it doesn't match anything in any of the rooms.
So, I decided to make it a new cover since that is in my repertoire of skills. Less than an hour later, a new more colorful pillow has appeared. I think this is much better. Don't you?
It traveled because it did not match and now it looks just perfect here with your walls. I bet this is where it will live from now on. Unless your boys decide they love it and claim it as their own.

Hi Susan,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for visiting my blog today and leaving a sweet comment. I'm so glad you liked my kitchen, I especially love the top cupboards, we have wanted those for a long time and there is no place left for the grease and dirt to accumulate! Instead there is useful space there!
I love your new pillow cover, I am always covering up old pillows, it's something that can be made quickly and easily, eh? I see you made some Christmas ones, too.
Hope to see you again,
Happy New Year!!!
Hugs, Cindy
You did a beautiful job on the pillow.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you and your family.

It's beautiful -- love that green paint, too! I hope your 2011 is very blessed!
