I found this at a thrift store for 50 cents.
He was practically begging me to take him home.
I notice that something is missing from his top - a knob perhaps?
So being the kind heart that I am, I decided to take him home and upcycle him into something else.
Everybody deserves a new life every now and then - right?!
Enter bracelets.
I LOVE bracelets! (Can you tell?!)
Do you see my cathedral quilt dresser runner that my mom made for me?? Isn't it beautiful!)
Seemed to me that I needed a bracelet holder for my bracelets.
So, out came the spray paint.
A few coats later and drying time. I have....
a new bracelet holder!
It's so much better than all being jumbled together.
It's a good thing!

ReplyDeleteFirst, what a great thing to think of. A perfect repurposing. I wonder if it is supposed to be as it is and held papertowels in a kitchen?
Second, I noticed the quilt the second I scrolled down and am glad you answered my question right away. What a beauty that your mother made you!!! I can imagine you really treasure it!

I love the quilt your Mom made for you. Once again, you are doing your thing of making something from nothing.
ReplyDeleteI love that in black and boy, you sure do love bracelets and that shows them off so well. Happy hunting.

Great idea, and so creative! I love bracelets too, by the way. :-)
ReplyDeleteThat quilt runner that your mom made is gorgeous. What a treasure.
What a wonderful idea! You certainly cannot beat the price either.
